Found this book at my favorite bookstore, thought it looked fun. Had a clown on it. Read it this month cuz it was short. Overall the book was solid, some interesting themes. Interesting ideas of how the future would be. The main character marries his cousin in the end. 6/10

A pixelart of two squid girls with reddish pink outside coloration, yellow inside and subtly glowing suckers, posing slightly and coiling their arms in a variety of ways. Squid arms form a band around the torso on the shoulder level, and a blind bald head emerges between them (because it's on the inside cephalopod arms, that is, NOT the head of the creature but merely a structure around the mouth). Wavy squid fins adorn the upper sides of the legs. The second squid girl poses with her back to the viewer, and you can see the two cephalopod eyes around her shoulder blades, as well as the line dividing the cephalod head (girl's upper torso) and the mantle slightly below that.

Starting off strong with Daughters of Palestine. A memoir of the author's family. Pretty short but excellent nonetheless. Heard her speak at a local event and thought her book sounded interesting so I grabbed it late last year.
