An egg + milk (or buttermilk) wash, and then flour/breading are the basics of a fried chicken batter/coating..

Let's assume 2 eggs per person, although I could easily say 3. Eggs for breakfast in my house means 10 eggs at 2, 15 eggs at 3. Baking? Need eggs. Frying chicken? Eggs. French toast? Egg salad? Meatloaf? I think it's likely you haven't factored in families, and real (not pre-packaged foods) cooking.

The problem with taking your molcajete out for a spin and making a really good salsa is that you "accidentally" eat it all before taking a picture. Guess I'll just "have to" make more... 😁
