What was going through the minds of those jurors who decided to take part in the Diddy Doc. Embarrassing on all fronts. Fangirling and wilful ignorance of the cycle of domestic abuse. They come off as bad as Combs.

Also how were they not sequestered?! Criminal injustice at its finest.

Farage vows to scrap indefinite leave to remain, placing thousands at risk of deportation Reform UK plans to force non-citizens to apply for visas, with high salary thresholds and no access to NHS services

This is a view shared by people who know no one going through the stress of the immigration system. People who want to make their lives here but are repeatedly being discriminated against by hypocrites with bad data spouting bile. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

These McLaren pitstops are killing me. Clearly the wheel guns are not working right and the guys can only work with the equipment they're given but slow stops are becoming common and it's impacting on track.

UK anti-slavery commissioner condemns Shabana Mahmood’s asylum comments Home secretary’s remarks about β€˜vexatious’ claims will have real-life impact on trafficking victims, says Eleanor Lyons

Glad this has been called out by the IASC. Seems a purposeful lack of understanding of the complexities of the asylum process and the NRM. It also disregards the experiences of survivors. Distrust in the system is already rife, this rhetoric isn't going to help.

Long thread: There are two main "defences" I see put forward of Labour which crop up:
1) If you don't vote for Labour you'll get Reform
2) It's all the fault of right wing media painting Labour in a bad light.
The thing is that neither of these are actually a defence of what Labour is doing. 1/23

The current discourse goes to show many folx don't know/understand/want to learn about the realities of our immigration system. Whether that's someone applying for prohibitively expensive visas or the process of how you can claim asylum in this country. Its honestly depressing.
