Hahaha 🤣 It's one of those situations where once you realize the game being played they lose a majority of their power via deception. I have an In Stone "out" date for a move later this year So I'm just ducking and dodging keeping my head down under the radar and getting paid~
I get A lot of the animal stuff put into my feed, especially shorts! Absolutely hilarious like, "(person) saves (prey) from (predator)" and it's some AI garbage of a minorly annoyed woman trying to keep a three-tailed alligator from bouncing her 5 legged dog on its nose.
Basically I think they're trying to put on a face and look productive and not build up a backlog by hastily distributing it as fast as possible without any concern for how stuff is actually going to get done. It's all about getting tickets filled / assigned, not completed.
So for example they fired someone and transferred all his work orders onto me with no contact or explanation. When I called and inquired about what the priority on these new jobs were they got pissy cuz they didn't know and said they would assign it to someone else (and didnt).
So for context my manager is great even though I get 90% of my instructions through his assistant cuz he's just so damn busy. We had a great thing going until all these new high management types got hired and each one of them thinks everyone beneath them is under their control.
Having multiple people act as your manager and not communicate with each other SUCKS. Like man I'm not refusing the tasks you stealth dumped on my schedule without explanation, you just need to determine their priority with the other person doing the same thing and my *actual* manager.
When a buddy shows you a video that inspires a great c0m1$$10n idea but then your brain reminds you that you're depressed and probably don't even have the motivation to sketch it out. 😭
