CALL ME IZZY had its final Broadway performance yesterday. The “remarkable new play” (according to Deadline) will live on in our memories as the triumph it was.

I am so happy for Jamie, who brilliantly created Izzy’s story, and Jean Smart, who brought Izzy to life on the stage with incredible acting skill. Being a producer of this funny and moving play is a proud moment for me.

Coming to Broadway: CALL ME IZZY, a new play starring the amazing Jean Smart and written by New Orleans resident and friend Jamie Wax. As a co-producer, I can tell you the team behind this show is stellar, including director Sarna Lepine. Performances at Studio 54 will begin May 12.
