So if you get a SATs mark two then it will only exacerbate the issue not make things better.
Well we test the curriculum for everything else in KS2 except reading. Itβs because the STA and the Reading Framework/research and evidence are at odds. The former holds onto the ideas that reading is a set of transferable skills we need to teach

After reading this piece in @schoolsweek.bsky.social by @bennewmark.bsky.social, I'm hurtling towards the conclusion that schools should be legally exempt from following interventions listed in an EHCP if they are not backed by high-quality evidence.
