If I recognize what a teammate or enemy does in game as a cool play then I’ll want to replicate it, or be ready to counter it with my own cool play next time, it just feeds a cycle of positive growth and most importantly focuses on what you can do instead of what you cant

You’re def allowed to be frustrated but overall I find the game much more fun when I am letting myself be wowed by all the cool stuff in it regardless of who does it and it helps keep the focus on the flow of the game instead of the mistakes. And heck sometimes it can even give inspiration

One thing ive been trying to do more in my games is to compliment anyone when they make a good play, weather its a teammate or an enemy, weather im in vc or not because it just makes the game so much more fun.

Not that it cant be critiqued but i think it becomes much less stressful when you stop expecting series to work like X rank when they both use different systems

Like here’s my outlook, series has worse weapon matchmaking than x rank right? So it isnt worth getting stressed over not getting similar results to how those matches would go in X rank.

For most of us the difference between getting x rank day 1 and day 10 of the season is negligible, and there’s much more important things for your improvement than the amount of time it takes to get to x rank, not to mention the stress it gives you

I was just seeing the posts (as they come with every new season) about struggles with getting back into x and I just want to share that the best thing for my mental was to stop worrying about when I got x rank again and just focus on what I can do better after each match
