Years ago I used to be scared to death of needles, and now I have to do once a month injections for a migraine medication in my stomach.

Glad I was able to work through my fear before the migraine medication became necessary (thanks to blood draws)- but omg, can you imagine??? 😅

Thinking about my old bunn bunn today. He was part of my life from 9 weeks old in 2013 till he passed in 2024. I named him Percy 💚. He was 50% good boy and 50% menace to society 🤣. Such a big personality in a small package!

Caved in and finally started watching Heated Rivalry

As a horror film nerd- Iron Lung won't appeal to popcorn horror movie fans that likes constant jump scares (think Conjuring films) But fans of psychological, cosmic and existential horror will live this. It's a slow burn solid 8/10. I love an indie passion project that delivers 💕 #ironlungmovie

I sincerely believe this attitude is why we have known sexual predators in positions of power claiming to be Christians in our country. The Christian religion allowed itself to be consumed by greed and power at the cost of innocent children.

Rot in hell.

Not to forget that the *children* (especially girls) are the ones often treated harshly for the crimes of male leadership in religion.

Because heaven forbid we place the blame on the one who committed the crime 😤

This feeling also applies to all those men in religious leadership who use their power to sexually exploit members of their congregation and/or abuse children.

The idea that god forgives all sin after conversion is actually far too dangerous for these types of men. Crimes become "oopsies"

What recently broke my mind was that I, as a child, was held to a higher standard while being raised in a religious home - more than any of these faith claiming politicians today.

Your perspective changes after you've been beaten for "sin" and you watch these "Christians" behave like monsters.

To be honest, a country built on destroying minorities and exploiting the work of the lower class self cannibalizing makes sense in the end.

It's amazing to me how America had one black president, the racists in power couldn't handle it and began cannibalizing the nation in a self hating frenzy

The last movie I watched in 2025 was a Korean romantic comedy called "Love Reset" (in English) it was hilarious. My husband and I watched it together.

Almost everyone we know is down with the flu and two people have pneumonia. Fingers crossed my husband and I don't catch it. Hopefully our flu shot has us covered 😭 what a way to start 2026.
