After 20 years of disappointment, this lifelong Fantastic Four fan has gotten not just a good or great FF movie, but the PERFECT FF movie... so much to discuss that I'll save for my review. Best Marvel introduction movie since the first Guardians of the Galaxy.

Hi Blueskyers!!! Here's my review of #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld that mostly receives a mixed-negative review cause I was pretty disappointed, not cause it was necessarily bad. YMMV as they say in the olden days of the internet:

A very good Wolf Man movie delivered w/emotional sincerity. Doesn’t break the mold like Invisible Man, in part because we’ve seen plenty werewolf movies. Sidesteps conventions, design makes sense in context, sound is aces. Abbott is phenomenal -he’s got those sad Chaney Jr eyes.

Totally agree with you there... I wasn't crazy about Abbott on first watch but when I watched it again, I realized he really channelled Chaney's spirit, and it's a decent creature performance, too.

I might have been able to if Gaiman wasn't so rude to me when I interviewed him for Coraline. It got him put on my "never again" list... and boy, Amanda Palmer must have some stories, going by her song intros the last time I saw her live.

I've noticed that the comic creators who have been needlessly rude to me over the years have been called out on things like this.... I guess that means J. Michael Straczyinski is next?
