In a perfect world, a remake can be close to 1:1 with new additions, all the content in the game from the beginning, and capture the essence of what makes the game so special and loved. I feel like most remakes do not fully get it or understand the crowd they're catering too. 💀💀💀

Bc a lot of companies/devs don't seem to fully understand what made the original so endearing and loved while adding on to it.

Spirit from the OG will not always translate to a remake + there's no guarantee the game, in question, will even be able to have all of the content the original game may have added. Its a valid mentality bc most remakes aren't treated with respect. No wonder some people will settle for remasters
