Ok friends! Just booked a tee time at Sugar Creek GC. 11:30am on Friday. $35 thanks to a hot deal.
I already have 1 spot taken, but 2 still open. First come first serve!

If you played golf last weekend, tell us about your shot of the day! (Chances are your sigo doesn't care, but I do, so brag away! ๐ ) #Golf
Going to be moving my course reviews to Instagram. Way easier than 10, 300 character posts on here.

Was frustrated with my score of 92 yesterday... Then saw JTs 16 shot swing and realized I have no right to get upset with the occasional 90+ score. That's just golf.
2022 TaylorMade Tour Response Balls are on sale on Amazon. Nearly 20% off. @mygolfspy highly rated them. mygolfspy.com/labs/taylorm...
I just snagged a dozen.

What was the "shot of the day" from your last round? More details the better!

Just booked a tee time for next Friday, 930am, Wolf Creek. $45
I booked all 4 times. So first come first serve on the other 3.
$60 for the round is right on the edge of what a round there is probably worth. Snag a hot deal and pay $45 like I did and I think you'll be extremely happy with your experience.
It's my home course, so I'm partial, but I would highly recommend CCM. Lean into the quirk of the course and I think you'll have a blast. (But spend some time on the putting green!)
Amenities include: range, chipping/pitching area (50yds and in), bunkers, and a solid selection of food/drink
Par 5s are definitely gettable, par 3s are short - but with very penalizing misses, and a ton of short par 4s that make you think through your bag before stepping onto the tee.
Now let's talk about the greens. The course might not be long, but the greens have razor sharp teeth. I don't care how good you are, you will 3-putt at least once. Very grainy, so can be surprisingly slow, or very fast. In the summers they are often double rolled and diabolical.
Fairways were fine... There is a lot of elevation changes, so there are some bare spots due to runoff, but nothing major. Some spring growth will make a huge difference.
With that said, it's highly unlikely you score well your first round out there due to a number of sneaky misses that penalize you... But half the fun is coming back for round 2.
Conditions were fairly typical for the price point and time of year. Tee boxes were solid.
City Club Marietta
Public
$50-60
30min from Atlanta
Quirky, short, and challenging greens, pretty much sums up City Club. I've found that people tend to hate it or really enjoy it. Rarely is driver required, but there's a lot of rewards to be found if your driver is on that day.

Today was cool. Had a guy from Threads respond to my tee time offer. Drove over from Tucker and we had a blast alongside a few of my typical playing crew.
Love when the Internet comes through for something good.
City Club Marietta course review will be posted tomorrow!
Just got a team signed up! Looks to be a great event. #Golf #Atlanta
I wonder what else I could use this for...

3. Sharing discounted tee-times with others
- I've already started doing this, but hopefully it can make certain courses more accessible
- not everyone can pay $100 for GolfPass, but maybe I can help people take advantage of the discounts I get and play courses they normally couldn't afford.
2. Exposure for Atlanta based Golf-Centric companies: apparel, content creators, etc.
- Would be great to connect people in those industries on the course
- Ex. Easy to imagine the benefits of bringing together a local content creator and local apparel company
1. Continued course reviews - Id like to become a go-to source for folks wanting to golf around the Atlanta-Area.
- ex. a resource for people wanting to take a golf trip to Atlanta seek out this account for advice
Still not 100% sure of how this account will evolve, but here's a few things that would be cool...
Ayyy 500 followers! I'm also on Threads if you use that platform as well. atlanta.golfs
I have a 1250 tee time at City Club Marietta on Friday. 1 spot left. Anybody want in?
Normally $61 for midday, I got a GN deal for $47.
100% These days I honestly spend more time on the chipping green anyways.
Always great advice. In general, my body got looser and I was over swinging/rotating a bit. This led to missing in some tough spots that put me in low percentage spots for getting up and down. Also a couple of loose tee balls, per the over rotation in my back swing.
Thanks! Was actually my best 9 holes ever. I'm an 11 handicap. So breaking 40 is rare.
But yeah I do. Through the Grint app
What an amazing and frustrating game we play. #Golf #GolfSky
Overall, I'd recommend it, especially if you can snag a discounted deal on GolfNow. Like I said, it's a really fun course, and conditions wise, it is definitely an upper tier public course worthy of a $100+ price tag, but they fall short on the hospitality.

Also, the turn doesn't come back around to the club house. I tee'd off at 1030 and didn't know this, and the cart person only had snacks.
