Not sure how it reflects on me, putting this all out in public like this, when I've been so reserved for the longest time now. But maybe it'll help push me to open up more and actually help kick my butt into gear again, so I can start enjoying life again (or at least more regularly).

Also gonna try and kick my own butt about commissioning more art? It's a thing I keep saying I'm gonna do, and then just stall out on between diminishing creative energies and exhaustion.

Streamwise, I think I just need a game I can latch onto and obsess over for a while, to help get that momentum going again. I have a few in mind, I'm just saving energy for the weekend.

Also been thinking about Ride On again. Gonna try to get over all my baggage with that and resume coding.

Been having a real hard time getting momentum back for any kind of creative efforts these last few months, but I'm hoping to make some good strides today. Gonna see if I can't start a ball rolling that will lead to the next Ride On update being done within the next few weeks.

Coming out of a month of doing nothing but binging Abiotic Factor. I love the game a lot, but man, getting hyperfixated on anything as badly as I did for this game is bad for productivity. Gonna try and claw out of the labs and get back into streaming and coding soon.

I love the parallels here, how her actions, personality and concerns in life reflected upon her demon form in death. That's just good character design and it is delicious.

It's a bit wild looking back on my anthology of sonas. From a Kirby to various Pokemon, to hybrid creatures and now a dragon.

It's just curious to see how my identity has shifted over time. What has changed, what has stayed the same. And also, what I wouldn't mind revisiting as alts or one-offs.

Small update here, but Cobblemon: Ride On! v0.3.2 is out now! This patch should resolve a handful of issues brought to my attention within the last week, including dismounting from certain flying mon, crashes, UI issues, and issues with Dismount Entity! Plus a new debug mode for seating!

I also hate the immediate association. "There's looting happening, so it HAS to be the protestors." Or maybe it isn't. Maybe the looters are unrelated and just see an opportunity while the city is in disorder. Which just gives the real guilty parties an excuse to blame the protestors.

I'm also stunned to realize that, across all hosts, platforms and versions, Ride On has over 1 million downloads! It's been a delightful surprise finding out that so many people enjoy playing the mod. Thank you all for the support! I'll be looking into something special to celebrate this milestone!

- Mounting and dismounting rework!
- Multi-seat riding!
- Options for automatic camera switching!
- Options for what factors apply for speed scaling!

Two loaves of freshly-baked banana bread sitting on a plate. They have their imperfections, but that's how you know that they're good.

In other news, I had some free time yesterday, and so I took some of that time to make some banana bread from some overripe bananas we had in the house. It turned out VERY delicious. One of the loaves has not lasted a DAY, with how much we've been enjoying it!

Development work for Update 3 of Cobblemon: Ride On! is starting to wind down! There's a bit of work to do still, and then some final testing after. But if all checks out and there are no major showstoppers, the update should be out within a week!
