This campaign has inspired people across the country. Now it's time to take action. Vote now and rank Avi Lewis #1!
Don't wait! Vote now: https://act.lewisforleader.ca/vote
This is, despite the headline, a really promising result.
Thinking of how Polanski has galvanised the UK Greens, and how Avi Lewis looks set to green the NDP in Canada, I'm feeling more optimistic than I have in some time that the far right has peaked.

The moral cowardice on climate in prairie politics from the likes of Notley is what caused me to resign my NDP membership nearly 10 years ago and what drove me to move from Alberta to BC.
Prairie politics is extremely conservative, even the NDP, and it's incompatible with the rest of the country.
Part of the reason I came back is my need to rant about the NDP leadership😁
This statement from the McPherson campaign is precisely why I won't be ranking her and why I would not vote for a party led by her.

Voting began Monday in the federal NDP leadership race, with a March 28 deadline for party members to cast their votes.
I have cast my vote for @avilewis.ca today to be the next federal NDP leader. I have witnessed how his campaign is a spillover of a broader social political movement to fight against fascism. This struggle is rooted in love for a different world, and solidarity as love made visible.

Bright sunshine falls on a wintry landscape in Japan. In the foreground, fresh snow lies across traditional wooden farm buildings, haystacks, and tall leafless trees; on our right, a single figure goes about their business on the farm. Beyond, Mount Fuji dominates the horizon, its snowy peak rising tall into a clear blue sky.

The Alberta Utilities Commission has rejected a proposal for a massive rural data centre that would have consumed as much power as the city of Edmonton. It cited missing information and a lack of public consultation. thenarwhal.ca/olds-data-ce...
The decision to cut CBC funding goes against Carney’s campaign promise - and only weakens our media ecosystem. #cdnpoli
Wow that was stupid. Alberta UCP needs Federal oversight because they will destroy the environment for short term gain.
Carney cuts $192m from CBC at time when Canadian news, culture probably not important

How can so many people in positions of influence in our society somehow think it is ok for a US president to think he can simply pick and choose world leaders, launch wars, claim territory, seize assets, wherever he wants whenever he wants? This is madman movie villain behavior. Absolutely nuts.
"let's give Danielle Smith, one of the worst people in the country, more power" - a supposed genius
You know what happens to trolls, right bro? Trolls get blocked. Bye bye.
Bro, what? That was a *direct quote* from Carney himself, refusing to rule out deploying Canada's military to the conflict. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but you're just denying Carney's own description of his position, and it's pathetic.
a.) Carney's not hiding it. “One can never categorically rule out participation. We will stand by our allies,” Carney said when asked whether his country would provide military assistance.
b.) the original post was about Carney's support for the illegal attack on Iran. Your arguments are unrelated.
RBC & Shopify collaborating on carbon capture should alarm all Canadians. This has nothing to do with climate change, these companies are just hungry for taxpayer money. CCS = "Can't capture shit" ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/coaliti... #ABPoli #ABLeg #CDNPoli #CarbonCapture #CCS #CCUS #ClimateChange
You're mistaken. Mark Carney has explicitly refused to rule out participating in the Iran War.
Every single day I wake up hoping Americans have had enough and have filled the streets to stop Trump’s terror and every single day I remind myself they are not people who will ever do that.
