An exceptionally strong storm in the Norwegian Arctic zone, with wave heights exceeding 10 m. 🌊🧊

#Sentinel-1 data shows how the storm pushed the ice edge over 100 km northward over a couple of days! gif πŸ‘‰ #CDSE

my first successful experiment at using copilot to help build something: github.com/gauteh/max-m.... with few extra instructions, copilot wrote an embedded driver for the ublox max-m10s gps driver in #rust (porting @sparkfun.bsky.social driver), and wrote an example that worked with a custom pcb.

A satellite image from Google Earth shows how this looks in practice. Here the waves are a bit shorter.. Interesting how the relatively random waves outside the harbor are filtered into almost monochromatic waves as they enter. The boats have figured out where the shadow zone is.

The old Alexandrian port started started construction in 1900 BC. It has two openings, allowing ships, and waves, to enter. Here 8 s waves are simulated as they enter the harbor using a BEM-model (github.com/gauteh/ohbemn), creating a beautiful interference pattern 🌊 πŸ§ͺ.

Adjusted hazard ratios (aHRs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) for arterial thromboses following COVID-19 vaccination, by dose and brand.

COVID-19 vaccines save lives, but evidence is mounting that vaccines also protect against heart disease. A study in Nature Communications again shows lower rates of heart attacks and strokes after the first dose. Infections increase those risks. RFK Jr is a prat.

How should a database be restored from pg_dump to a cluster? I've dumped a database from a single standard postgres database (official docker image). It was originally migrated from sqlite, but I couldn't use pgloader with the target cluster of 4 replicating

That could be it.. I thought maybe it wouldn't show up before it was replicated across all followers? Didn't put in any extra flags regarding that.
