“Media capture” happens when friends of a strongman leader buy up media and transform them into mouthpieces for him. And it happens when big corporations decide that sacrificing the legitimacy of their media properties is a way to protect their farflung businesses from the fascist leader’s sabotage.
The FCC’s Brendan Carr and Local TV affiliate monopoly corporations like Nexstar are to blame, as are companies like Disney/ABC for caving to pressure, all to protect their precious stock shares.

divided our country; diminished American influence; broken trade & defense policies; thrown the economy into turmoil; pitted citizens against law enforcement; is heading us toward a theocratic autocracy.
It wasn’t the Republican president’s misdirected war in Iraq, nor the Republican administration bowing to Arabian Oil interests.
It was clean up on a situation perpetuated for over a decade under the Bush administration, AFTER President Obama fixed the economic recession of 2008.
