Just remember when you look it up: PET and PETG have different chemical compatibilities. Don't rely on a PETG chart to tell you about PET chemical compatibility.
Long answer: none of the compatibility charts I have list it with ferric chloride, but PlasticsEurope has it listed as having good resistance to pure ferric nitrate, a similar oxidizer. But since it's a different anion and it's aqueous, it's safer to test it before relying on it.
Short answer: it's probably fine, but I would test it before you use it with a valuable project.
