It is true that there is not a unified major war such as in WWII, which could perhaps be thought of as 2 contemporary separate wars, but when you consider the number of countries directly or indirectly involved in aggression or defence it is almost a world wide phenomena.

If the driver in this case left the scene that is inexcusable but he, or she, may have been panicked and in shock.
In any case do not automatically blame the driver without knowing the full facts.

Having been a passenger in a car that hit a child, chasing a ball, that ran into the street between 2 parked cars I can understand how this can happen. The driver braked hard and I saw a little cricket bat fly past the window. The child finished under the car but other than bruises was OK.
High time that Hungary was suspended from the EU, and close the borders. They are almost a totalitarian fascist state within the EU and are working to dismantle the EU on Russia's behalf.
The EU can not function with this traitor in its midst.
Remove veto rights and block EU funds to Hungary.
