A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

IT'S OFFICIAL: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York State, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and New York City have formed the Northeast Public Health Collaborative.

The collaborative will issue their own vaccine recommendations and coordinate public health efforts.

It might just be me, but I don’t think journalists should be allowed to publish things that “may not accurately reflect” what happened and not face career consequences.

Especially if that tenuous fact seeks to villainize a minute portion of the population already under attack.

They’re not even that wrong. I recently met someone from Argentina and one of the first things they commented on was our military. They were so bewildered by how and why violence is normalized here.

A lot of "eat the rich", "guillotine" types condemning the murder of a nazi. Do you or do you not believe that violence is acceptable and/or necessary to resistance movements? If you find yourself with inconsistent views on the matter, it's worth examining why. What do you *actually* believe?

It’s funny seeing all the right wing talking heads try and condemn violence, only to be reposted with screenshots of their own calls to violence.

Your ethos means nothing if your praxis contradicts it.

if you’re a good innocent person your death should matter more. palestinian children have been dying all day every day without true comment and this one shitstain of a human dying is dominating national news. it should matter more.

This is a time when I wish I understood more Korean. Getting to read what some of these translations really makes me want to know what *exactly* got said about these miserable people.

The people out here claiming they “want to end to political violence” are the same people who delight in watching others suffer under it.

If people quote you after you die and are told “Now’s not the time. How inappropriate,” maybe the things you said actually aren’t so innocent and innocuous.
