Day 2 at the 70th United Nations womens' commission in NY was full of insights:
*The EU, Korea and Estonia hosted a panel on Automating Injustice: We’re unwittingly amplifying existing biases.
*The next panel called for feminist tech design: “Technology should strengthen people, not silence them.”
Day 1 of the 70th Commission on the Status of Women:
*Malala Yousafzai called for gender apartheid to be a crime against humanity.
*Anne Hathaway acknowledged our grief at the backlash, but urged us to FIGHT.
*The UN Secretary-General said we must critically look at artificial intelligence.

When I had Long COVID, I lost count of the number of times drivers became annoyed when I asked them to pull into the driveway, rather than dropping me across the road.
I can only imagine how heartbreaking it would be to have drivers repeatedly refuse to pick up your guide dog.
