I think this is a combination of /resume for a section of codebase and good Claude.md files. I’ve heard people setting up a Claude.md for multiple directories, but that’s a fair amount of work and Claude requires some oversight

Claude Code updates files in javascript apps, but when when it writes Python, it just spews out new scripts for every update.

It's been a long time since I was even an environmental consultant, so I don't know my transit research well. Maybe "help me use ML to count the number of people on the platform across 5,000 pictures," or "I have this messy commuter dataset. Clean it up and help me do analysis"

I'm sure it isn't human-quality as this really is too big a bite for AI in today's state. It's better suited to help with the 5,000 smaller questions that lead up to extending a line. And maybe drafting sections of the EIS.
Like humans, robots do better with context. Like you could ask this of a transit planner and they'd give you five answers depending on what you are optimizing for.
Not that they'd nail it either way.
