GOOD MORNING BLUESKY
I did something kinda interesting last night. I left my laptop at work so I would not be tempted to log in first thing in the morning
which means that it was really easy for me to work out and run before starting work today... and I FEEL GREAT
hope y'all are having a good day
just a reminder that if you scapegoat the scapegoaters, they don't stop scapegoating, you just now have people who are actively scapegoating, who also don't listen to anything you say

today is an amazing day for me, it's a piano lesson day. I have the best piano teacher ever - he's a classically trained pianist who went into jazz and tango and he knows both the classical rep and also all sorts of stuff about improv and composing.
i feel blessed

I can't help feeling like we need a hazards-mapping of our collective national psyche, at the moment
Designing walkable cities increases social interaction and consequently may improve social support and social integration. Increase in social support and decrease in social isolation are good for public health.
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs". (NM)

happy Monday! I decided to try front loading some planking (the exercise) 1st thing in the morning. it seems like the best way to build consistency might be to make it a morning routine.

18/ And to know that, of course,
Whyte's advice is exactly right - we will have to feel all our feelings.
Whatever they may happen to be, in any given moment.
We can't hide from the signals our body is trying to give us. Nor should we.
Without those signals, we won't know what to do next.

if we accept that the anxiety can also just be understood as one of Nature's ways of helping us focus,
and that one of the most important questions we can clarify is:
What values will inform our next choice?
What's at stake, exactly?
