Imagine someone getting a stock grant in 2021 or 2022. There has to have been someone in that situation, surely.

Shout out to our random third, who totally got what I was doing by closing every single door behind us, and joined in on it.
These guys had the audacity to be salty about us killing them, when they absolutely started this hahaha.
Shadowplay unfortunately fucked up the HDR recording on this, but man this was a satisfying fight. Still love the Magnum
Man I wish I could do this voice so I could scream "skinnnnnnn skinnnnnnn" whenever I finish someone in Marathon

Had an epic Marathon run tonight, where we pretty quickly got into a fight with another team. Towards the end of the match, one of our players got downed by another team. We were able to scare them off with a flank. Managed to revive our third and get to the final extract with two seconds to spare.
Also getting old enough to realise how patently ridiculous and self contradictory, the idea of an _infinitely good_ being, either deliberately or through inaction, to torture people for all eternity for not believing in one of many contradictory belief systems with no evidence.
Also to some extent, watching Star Trek the Next Generation at around this time, which made me consider more, that all cultures have their own myths and superstitions.
Hitting the age of about 13 and starting to question more of the ideas I was raised with. I figured out that Santa wasn't real at around the age of 8. At 14 I started to see parallels between the two concepts.
Aye it was me. I dinnae like tae boast though
I had a knife fight with a guy in Outpost. We both got downed. He was absolutely raging at me over voice chat.
It didn't help when I said I had no regrets and I'd absolutely do it again
Those ones aren't too bad because they're relatively rare and easier to sneak past. Whereas the smaller ones are everywhere and it's very easy to slip up and get noticed by one
That's not a criticism of Arc Raiders btw, I was sleep deprived yesterday because I got into a loop of "one more run" and ended up staying up until 3am playing Arc Raiders on Wednesday. But the PVE is a hell of a lot harder than Marathon in my view.
I don't understand how Marathon gets so much criticism for "hard AI" and Arc Raiders doesn't.
If you are spotted by a drone in Arc as a low level player, you are 90% dead if you don't have a building to hide in. If you're spotted by two, it approaches 100%
SHOULD THE U.S BLOT OUT THE SUN AND USHER IN AN AGE OF ETERNAL DARKNESS? - Gallup 2/20/26-3/5/26
NO - 41%
YES - 38%
UNSURE - 21%
Actually good sir I have not been fired, I have been reassigned to head up the Super Turbo Real Job To the Max Hyper Fighting 3000 department.
Yeah I got sick of it, so I switched jobs to running my own little fruit stall, just kind of straddling an alleyway a bit. I sure hope no one barrels through knocking all the fruit over, that would suck
Ahh it is 100% bugged. Just Google searched it, tons of people saying the same thing
It was a fucking hornet. So the quest is just bugged then. Fantastic
I swear that last one I killed was a hornet, but fuck knows honestly
Seriously I have had it with this "kill a hornet with this specific explosive" quest. They look fucking identical to wasps. Now I'm out of those explosives and can't make any more. Fuck this
Trying to progress in Arc Raiders when you are missing the part of the brain that can tell the difference between a wasp and a hornet
Two beeps are an even number though and even numbers are rad
Not attacking Arc Raiders to be clear. It's an excellent game, well deserving of the praise it gets. It's just... Marathon is, in my opinion, a much easier game and it gets slated for being too difficult
Where if you attack one enemy, now there are five of them attacking you from all angles, and you can't run because you're out of stamina
It's really weird to me to see people say Marathon is too hard and then go onto praise Arc Raiders, a game where even the lowest level enemy is basically a mini boss fight, with the best weapon you aren't locked out of as a low level player
Would this mean that you can torrent whatever you want in the UK, provided you train a neural network on everything you torrent? Just set up a company and claim it's commercial research
Same. I ended up buying it today after spending most of the day on it.
The "activate a Target Acquisition Device" contract is still fucking bullshit though. That almost turned me off the entire game.
Obviously if you hate extraction shooters or PVP you're going to hate it, but as someone who loves the genre, once you get into it, it's like a Destiny extraction shooter, with the same level of depth in gear choices and the kind of fun gear perks many of us have come to love
