Prasad’s FDA Exit Offers Relief — Not Resolution The revolving door at the Food and Drug Administration has pushed out another top official: Vinay Prasad, the controversial head of the agency’s vaccine and gene therapy arm, will depart in April.

Yes, I know (and have written extensively on this). I just think its important to be careful in describing that period as even minor inaccuracies become the (repeated) point of contention rather than people focusing on the actual issue at hand.

He is exaggerating for sure, but I would say around/little over a year might be more accurate. Chicago schools offered hybrid learning starting in March '21, but for at-risk students only. My own kid wasn't in person until April & fully in-person learning didn't happen until fall '21.
