Good morning & Happy Thanksgiving. Reality is I’m a 60 year old woman trying my best to rise above my depression. In my dreams I’m 11 years old watching my mother cook thanksgiving dinner, the house smelling amazing & my Dad & siblings watching the Macy’s parade on tv. I miss those days.

My health seems to be holding. I feel fatigued & continue with the bathroom problems but I guess this is my normal. I bruise pretty easily but I’m still walking everyday (weather permitting). I’ve had a couple of bad mental health days but getting outside & walking has helped a great deal.

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about my health. You may or may not care but I feel better talking about it so here goes. Breast cancer still in remission, second brain tumor still so small my neurologist wants a MRI every other month, breathing is improved and I’m up to 8,000 steps a day.

I’m sticking the pins in every night.

Chemo went well yesterday but my pulse was only 48 & according to the nurse normal range is 60 to 100. Anyway I had to have an EKG which delayed the chemo but eventually I got it. Now waiting on the cardiologist to call.

Notice how troops were sent to LA for political theater, but none were sent to Texas to help find the missing people who were swept away in the flood?

Still no news regarding second brain tumor. Neurosurgeon’s suppose to be presenting the case to the tumor board today & contact me tomorrow on what they decide. We may do monthly MRI’s or start gamma knife radiation. It’s gotten slightly larger but my doctor still isn’t convinced.

I like this man.

Phone call with neurosurgeon Thursday afternoon to figure out our options for treating this 2nd brain tumor. I’ve was told it’s slightly larger.
