My first book has gone through 5 drafts, to include structural overhauls, polishing, all of it. I actually REALLY enjoyed revising more than I expected. The story I uncovered in that process became something really beautiful and meaningful.

Omg, that literally happened to me in draft 3. I was like "I'm done! Hurray!" Then realized I had too much book and plot for a single book and had to split and restructure the entire thing. 🙃🙃🙃

I stared at his back for several more breaths, tracing my gaze across the muscles of his shoulders, the spray of bites along his neck, his forearms … his waist. “Ahh, Izzy's making sweet cakes!” a lovely female voice crooned from behind me. I turned as Arisandra – beautiful, dark-haired – stopped beside me, close enough I could feel the heat radiating from her. She met my gaze with sparkling dark eyes, and smiled. Sensation unfurled from my chest into my legs, and I spun away, aiming for the large table set on the other side of the kitchen.

Book 2 Maeve is a walking bisexual disaster and I absolutely love her. 😂
