I still believe in a higher power, but I do have some questions for them.

When we moved to Texas, we learned that the churches who were courting us not only wanted 10% of our parents’ salaries but they also wanted to see pay stubs and bank statements to make sure we were paying our fair share. That’s about when organized religion stopped being enforced in our house.

No worries. There are a contingent of Bluesky users who post primarily about politics who also have outdated & inaccurate views about professional wrestling and its fans. If you encounter any defensiveness from the community, it’s because folks tend to approach with derision rather than curiosity.

If that were true, then biopics about professional athletes would never sell.

Let’s look at this another way. Why is there such a huge audience for Game of Thrones when real Medieval history is right there? The answer is storytelling. We know it’s a performance, and we enjoy the pageantry & drama.
