Idiocracy was meant to be a satire, not an instruction manual.

Well, Trump's hero expected the Ukrainians to happily greet them and allow them to quickly take over the country.

It does give me hope that not all Republicans see the world through orange coloured glasses.

It's true. And the amount of personal wealth they are gaining is next level too

Doubt it. The hubris this administration has that they can either dominate to achieve their objectives or deceive the voters they are winning regardless is astounding.

What I find the most amazing is that they had no clue that blocking the strait was a potential action Iran might take. EVERYONE knew it was likely to happen, yet the people who's job it is to consider all reactions seemingly had no clue and didn't plan around it. No just evil, also incompetent

80% sure this is a joke, but legitimately can never be sure with this administration. I don't know how places like @theonion.com survive now. I've been fooled multiple times by what is real and not.

Just wait a bit, the goals will change again with no admission that they have actually changed

I've said the same about every person in this administration. It's like their voters never watched any movies in their childhood and are unable to identify bad guys

And yet they produce 16% of the world's potash and very recently produced a lot more.

Or maybe all that infrastructure suddenly disappeared ๐Ÿ˜‚

No, you've been there in 2025 and have completed a survey of their infrastructure?
In 2025, I was in the centre of potash production in Canada. Guess what? I have no clue what level the infrastructure is at.

Any sources to back this up, or just another viewpoint without facts? Seems pretty hard to believe that suddenly the infrastructure has disappeared since 2022.

That's 2024, according to the government of Canada. AFTER production dropped by over 50% due to sanctions. Which makes my point even stronger - Trump has options, ones he's been Uber eager to to exploit by ridding sanctions on Russia/Belarus. Imagine the numbers if sanctions were taken off.

Almost 16% of world production

The thing is, Russia/Belarus is also a big producer. I'm wondering if Canada has been weighing that into any scenario. That would give more leverage to Putin over Trump. Not that it's really necessary.

Wonder when the Maga followers will see how bad this is for the future of America. The world economy is being rerouted away from the US and gifted to their rivals.

17.02.2026 13:55 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Does this mean that the US is preparing to recognize Crimea/Donbas as Russian or that the US has agreed that it would be illegal to recognize it as Russian as part of a deal?

The point was to sound harmless so criticism of it would make it seem like Democrats rely on illegal elections

So proud of Carney and Canada showing strong leadership on the world stage. Other nations need to follow suit and oppose the regime. Greenland was a start, more to follow.

We need more leaders to follow Carney's lead. There is a way to oppose this regime. Both from inside and from the outside.

Honestly, the American public has the most power, but needs to really use it.
Sure, people around the world could/should boycott the World Cup, American tech & products, but really, the world is looking to everyday Americans to fix their mistake.

Man, I bet the NRA is going to be furious when they hear that jack-booted thugs from the federal government executed a law-abiding citizen for exercising his Second Amendment right to carry a handgun.

Any second now, I'm sure.

He was a white guy, if that helps?

Hello? NRA?

Trump already lost an election for PP, we'll see how Alberta responds to trying to be bought.

Why is this regime full of so many losers? Not even like the suave evil geniuses. Just a bunch of losers.

Awkward moment for Agent Vitkov!

As Trump's unqualified golf buddy (Steve Witkoff) headed off for his beloved Moscow, a reporter asked when he'll finally get around to visiting to Kyiv....

Trump likes to tout his stock market highs, yet they have made half the gains of the Canadian TSX(with less volatility), even when economically attacked by the closest rival.

Hopefully Americans wake up and realize the world economy is adapting and leaving them behind.

He already claimed "you don't know what the Democrats put in there when they were in power."
Obviously, if it ever sees the light of day, it's very damaging to Trump

Trump brags about how great the US economy has done under him, yet the gains over this past year are not even half of the Canadian TSX.
One country has been attacked by their biggest trading partner, the other is constantly "winning" but being left behind in global trade.

21.01.2026 22:22 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

You'd think American citizens would get tired of Trump's own goals.
Global trade is re-routing around America rather than including it. Carney said it himself.
Trump makes bold statements about stock market highs, meanwhile the Canadian TSX is up double the S&P 500 in the last year.
