People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.
I do need the American people to stop viewing Trumpism as blunderous policy failure.
It is a full court press to subjugate you into poverty and despair. There is no witticism or gotchya or logical superiority that can combat that.

You are correct. There is zero reason to interpret this charitably. Mothers (myself included) are very right to be worried. We have a reckless, incompetent, and volatile administration that fetishizes war and killing people.

Why does the article protect the name of Jim Atkins’s employer? What Cincinnati-based college did he work for? It doesn’t implicate the college to name them, but it feels like an important detail that shouldn’t be omitted.

This woman, US citizen living in Skokie, was detained at Ohare yesterday, taken to Broadview, then transferred to a detention facility in Wisconsin, now released. We know all this not because of DHS, who repeatedly denied that they even had her, but because her phone was pinging in those locations.

They've now killed four people -- three U.S. citizens and a Mexican national. They've shot several more.
They've lied about all of them. They haven't shaded the truth. They haven't "misled" us. They've brazenly, knowingly lied while in possession of the evidence disproving their lies.
There is a legal provision in immigration law that someone married to a US citizen can stay in the US while there visa is pending. Immigration officials have long recognized it to allow residency during the wait time. The DHS has just stopped following this part of the law.
