I prefer emerald as it is my go to gen 3 hoenn experience, given its the most updated version, and would love more DLC-like content for it. Though I do understand the limitations required to even get them in so I get why R/S are preferred, but I would love Emerald DLC nonetheless.
The most ferret coded behavior of all time
Maybe an ORAS Fly "key item" post-game feature after catching the game's Lati? (could explain the PokΓ©mon being used for Fly)
Mayyyybe something to alleviate HM usage? (like auto use or make HMs forgettable without the deleter?)
Maybe with the IV/EV checker, add an indicator for the ability to see if its ability 1 or 2 (useful for mons that get new/better abilities Gen 4 and onwards)
Since Infinite Repel is a thing, maybe have a PID checker (kinda cheaty like the repel)
Second this for both! The inability to run indoors is an annoying limitation for no real reason.
Yeah that basically answers my question. Oh well, guess I'll be sure to have the set up done on the last PC box.
I take it is unfortunately the limitation with the currently known ACE script set up? I'd imagine the web tool would also have the ability to remove the script too
Good luck! Also hope the shiny indicator ACE will be given a guide some time in the future! Too far into my copy of Red to start a new :')
Wow. Honestly, it astounds me how much the game can be manipulated once you know the right entry points. How long can you say that you have worked on this new method?
So if I understood this right, I am not an expert lol, you are editing pokemon data to create controlled jumps that would be used to allocate code/data for your main goal?
Okay that's huge actually! So no need to "beat" HoF the 30 times to get the right pokemon data placements!
And to think ACE couldn't get any better in Gen 4! Care to share a kernel of info regrading the new method? Like a sneak peak to how different it is lol?
