I use a shot blocker when I do my HRT shots- the plastic ones don't really cause any sort of pain (in my opinion) -it puts a pressure (best way to describe the feeling I suppose) on the space around the injection site. A long day but a good day.

I met some of my community, met a member of the city board for my district too, chatted and socialized and got a lot of walking and fresh air in.

For those who wanted more info, I'm just noting what people tell me every day. But I've noticed two kind of mantras in Minneapolis. One is "We keep us safe." The other is, "No one is coming to save us."

The level of anger normal Minnesota people have at their elected representatives is palpable. It's not about party, but the perceived failure of local/state electeds to do anything of substance to protect residents who pay their taxes and get left facing off alone against masked, armed men.

I can officially now say that I sold my grandmother's house and I don't have to worry about that anymore. Thank god.

They really seemed to want me to go to the hospital yesterday

And today they really seemed to want me to leave

They sent me home with the antibiotics (shots I have to administer myself)

So I am home safe from the hospital now and back in my own bed.

They're loud & clanky sounding but you don't feel anything when you're inside it. I've had several done bc of my head/brain issues. They will usually ask you if you want to listen to music they provide - don't be afraid to let them know if it's too loud/ quiet before they start.

Ah yes... I almost forgot how hospitals work...

Try to sleep
Loud alarm nearby keeps going off
Finally gets to sleep
Nurse comes in to take your vitals and wakes you up
Finally gets back to sleep
Another nurse comes in to take a blood sample

I say this then the ER doctor called me and said they might have me come back in today because they got test results back and my white blood cell count was not good.
