Now available: DMs! Start a private conversation with a friend directly on Bluesky within the Chat tab. 💬
Update to the latest version of the app (1.83) or refresh on desktop to start chatting!
By default, only people you follow can message you. You can change this to everyone or no one in your DM settings.

Totality during the solar eclipse over the waters of Lake Memphremagog in Newport, VT. The clouds on the horizon glow pale yellow, the yellow from them reflects in the water. The sky is inky blue with the ring of fire of totality over the scene.
Eclipse over Lake Memphremagog from Newport, VT yesterday. Incredible luck being able to get right on the water and the park was full of cheering crowds. Just an incredible experience.

The post composer will now detect the language and suggest tagging your post with that language. We’re still tuning the detection so you might get some false positives, but we hope this makes things easier for folks that jump between languages often.
