I'm tired of it all. Of a life where money is the idol worshipped by those in power.

My body is willing to keep going but my soul's just... tired.

Now do not take this thread as a doompost. It's more of an abstract venting piece. A way for me to get those negative thoughts out on paper and try to rekindle my soul's flame.

I may be burnt out but I'm not extinguished for good.

In truth, it's why I try to cling to what joy I can find; it's what gives me the power to keep waking up and doing things. And while my body is willing, my soul is tired.

I want to see justice towards those who would label innocents guilty and the guilty as innocents. But I cannot shout.

I keep hearing about the current blights of the Internet being caused by the ones in power... and despite it all, I want to be angry and speak out.

But I feel weak-voiced and tired. Burnt out about things I want to see changed for the better, but struggling to get off the floor.

I like to think there's always going to be problems regardless of how fair and welcoming some societies can be.

Yeah, $20 is a steal for these games. But I do get that people expected them as part of Nintendo Classics.

At the same time, their cited reason is "so people don't savescum using emulation tools like restore points and rewinding". I'm not a PKMN player these days, so I'm neutral.
