... I need to clarify this, I see "creative" use of ai as an abomination, and for the reasons you've described I'm weary of it being a tool, but when it comes to it just holding the nail you're hammering down I really don't see the harm, no shade to you though your views are very valid

That I am unsure about, a while back I needed a way to mass rename a lot of textures to give them human readable names for a port, I wouldn't be able to do it without ai making a script, could I learn how to do a powers hell script without it? Maybe but at that point I could just rename by hand...

Yeah I get it, but like, don't beat yourself if you want to download a mod thats possible thanks to ai, I myself just have ai generated content as a blocked keyword on nexus because if something is fine I'll come by it some other way

And people that simply are completely blocked off of doing something due to financial/legal/licensing issues, imo there's nothing wrong with some Joe making some prompts to improve a lacking aspect of the game, he could do it without ai voices but it would simply be boring to use it like that

There's a difference between a company that replaces people with chatgpt, or ai pseudoartists that get a sense of accomplishment from a bunch of prompts that create an abomination of what once was human creativity...
