I’ve taken to echoing Robert Owen & so many in labor history.

And if life is "Eight hours' labour, Eight hours' recreation, Eight hours' rest" and education only focuses on labor, we have left behind as irrelevant the vast majority of human life & thriving.

To our cost.

A woodcut/scratchboard-style poster, in dark purple against a light lavendar background with white border, text and skintone/clothing. A femme figure with curly hair, dancing in a skipping step wearing a knee length skirt and short sleeved, v-neck top, is waving a long purple scarf or ribbon with the words "If I can't dance I don't want to be a part of your revolution! Emma Goldman." Circular ink strokes all around create the appearance of fast, whirling dancing.

Ricardo Levins Morales has written a lot about how even when you're voting for a socialist, even when you get to vote your values and you win, you're always choosing your opponent in negotiating. That there is no such thing as voting for someone who will uphold every virtue every time.

The quote: "If you give me a fish, you have fed me for a day. If you teach me to fish, then you have fed me until the river is contaminated or the shoreline seized for development. But if you teach me to organize then whatever the challenge I can join together with my peers and we will fashion our own solution." The quote is framed by a stream of water with a fish in it, ending in two hands clasping each other in solidarity.
