24 hour unexpected diversion to Brisbane (wind share in Sydney), a 3am to bed local time (5am nz), a cancelled rebooked flight, Β£150 phone bill calling airline β¦ light at the end of the tunnel, meant to be departing Brisbane in next 2 hours onwards To uk via Dubai. π
And as youngest nephew put it βbut the cat will be excited to see you. If he is excited, can you send us a video?β. Yes, yes I can π§‘ π§‘
And, also, π π π. Never gets any easier leaving despite having done this for literally decades! Itβs been so good for the soul to have reconnected with my (other) home, land, friends and family this month. Iβm sad to leave but my cup is full π§‘ π§‘
