We’re proud to present ***Midnight Strikes Twice***, a monthly fighting game tournament in Manchester, NH! And this month we're taking the "Strikes Twice" part a bit more literally, as for the first time we've got two major brackets! Tonight we’ll be playing both **Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising** and **Melty Blood: Type Lumina**. Doors will open for casual play at 5:30 PM, with bracket for Melty Blood starting at 6:30 and bracket for Granblue starting at 7:00. Venue fee is $5 (comes with a free drink or snack!), and bracket entry is an additional $5 per game, with payout to top 3 in store credit. Additionally, since we're running two games this month, I've decided that I'll be paying the venue fee for the first 3 people per game to show up with a complete setup - this includes monitor (either with sound built in or with external speakers), a copy of the game (in the case of Granblue, with all DLC characters) installed on the system, and any cords needed for it. Pre-registration is available at https://start.gg/NHFGC-MST, but registration at the door will also be open.

I think a term like "Discord fighter" is a good start. Granted people use it as a negative, but I think the idea of a tight knit community that got resources handy for initial install or in game tech is pretty sick. Something like a "Forum Fighter" or "chat room fighter" might be a good 1/2

Played the hell out of 3 but I skipped them after until American Wasteland. Was 4 the start of the open levels with people that give you goals? I thought that had started at underground.
