This is generally my approach, but sometimes I feel SOOO scatter brained with it.
I'd say the hard working, but honest Hippogriff is a good symbol for the people.
Fail. I wish a cartoonish stream of confusion and status conditions on you leading in a dramatic team wipe against an otherwise unassuming wild pokemon.
I have always struggled because I don't mentally assign stuff that way at worldbuilding. But maybe now that most of my world is filled out, I can start looking at the 'great nations/ areas' and give them common grounding.
