I'm beginning to think, perhaps, that GaaS might have genuinely dealt a fatal blow to the industry, and we're just now coming to terms with that.
Gonna shill on here and it probably sounds like coping because I was someone unironically optimistic for DNF Duel. But Khazan has a demo out now on steam and it's immediately in my top 3 favorite soulslikes, it runs great and feels great to play. With a free demo, I strongly recommend just try it.

I saw PCO at an ROH show in 2019 and it was a tag match, but I was amazed at how good he still looked in the ring when he was in there back then. Dude genuinely doesn't age it's incredible.
He's just a funny little guy.
