What do you do when you hear a Robin singing it's head off but there's a twig ruining the picture? Take the photo of course! Irresistible ☺️ 🪶

Deer in the field opposite our holiday let in Beeston, Norfolk. Pictures 1 & 2 I think are Roe Deer and pictures 3 & 4 Muntjac Deer.
Cracking shot.
Taken at RSPB Snettisham in Norfolk, this is the largest flock of Oystercatchers I've ever seen! Did you know that a flock of Oystercatchers is also known as "a parcel", how strange. 🪶 #ukbirding #birdphotography
My year tick list taken to 58 by this superb Egyptian Goose, taken at Whitlingham Great Broad, North Norfolk. #yrticklist26 #birds #ukbirding #birdphotography
Thanks
Originally bred as a domestic duck, this one is clearly an escapee living in the wild. This happens a lot with private wildfowl collections. Interestingly I've read somewhere that this breed was an exhibit at Prince Albert's Crystal Palace.
Nice to get some special images of Grey Herons for my year tick list. Never had a pair in flight together before. Taken at RSPB Surlingham Church Marshes, North Norfolk. 04/03/26. #yrticklist26 No57 🪶 #ukbirding #birdphotography
This breed takes its name from Cayuga Lake. Some assumptions are made that it is partly descended from the American Black Duck, which is the closest wild relative of the Mallard. The Cayuga drake develops a tail curl like a Mallard, which the American Black Duck does not. First mentioned in 1809.
Thanks for the info.
That should be Whitlingham Country Park.
This is one of those "I must be seeing things" moments. Turns out to be a Cayuga Duck from USA, named after a lake near NY, and were introduced to the UK in the 1870s. #yrticklist26 No56 and a lifer. Taken on the River Yare at Whitlington Country Park 02/03/26.🪶 #ukbirding #birdphotography
Jimmy Wren on the lookout for rivals in the clifftop gardens at Cromer, Norfolk. 03/03/26. Wrens are such feisty little characters. 🪶 #ukbirding #birdphotography
