I love all fics, even unfinished ones cause it's not like a fic being unfinished makes it any less beautiful. But yeah, for some people it's hard to reconcile how much effort and time go into writing (but a lot of people do get it which is always amazing 🥰)
I feel like a lot of readers forget that fic writers have lives that don't revolve around writing fic, and most of those also don't realize the power comments have on getting updates faster otherwise so it's hilarious when someone won't leave a comment, unless it's to ask if it's abandoned after
