I've been a gamer since 1985. Started on ZX Spectrum. In those 40 years I have never, not ever, known a game developer like HG. Every update, of the insane amount of free updates, is a game changer and I keep thinking, 'They can't top this one.' Then...you top it. Thank you for all your hard work.πŸ––πŸ‘Œ

Ain't that the truth. We're nought but units of profit potential to be exploited and expended. Was ever thus.

We already have the Scottish pound, which has existed longer than the English pound and is still in use, as we have a charter to print our own currency. We would also have a trade surplus, meaning more foreign currencies in our banks, strengthening our pound. This guy's a moron.

There's a crisis-in-waiting for our society. AI is being shoehorned in, everywhere, at an alarming rate. Efficacy of AI aside, the near future reality will be more and more jobs handed to AI as employers seek to maximise profits. With fewer jobs and growing populations, UBI is a necessity.

I'm so sorry. It's a horrible thing to lose your mum.

Insurance industry silent over whether it lobbied DWP to cut disability benefits Major insurance companies – including one that spent years lobbying the government to tighten eligibility for out-of-work disability benefits – have refused to say if they pushed the government to …

Well, I think it's safe to say we now know what the impetus for these welfare cuts to disability benefits is. A so-called Labour government acting in the interests of corporate parasites. #RedToriesOut #StopTheCuts

It's the old 'tell a lie often enough...' gambit. It truly is utter bollox.

I recently responded to an opportunity to give my thoughts on the hideous cuts to disability benefits. My MP replied. Here is that reply, with my reply to it. Second part of my reply is in the comments. Check out the double-think in the highlighted part. #RedToriesOut

These cruel benefit cuts will rob security from so many – but Labour will lose something crucial too | Frances Ryan The worst reforms since George Osborne will teach voters that politicians really are all the same. Is it worth it? asks Guardian columnist Frances Ryan

β€œEight months on from being elected on the promise of β€œchange”, we’re beginning to see what Labour’s version of that looks like: sweeping cuts to disabled people’s social security. Change, it seems, isn’t coming for everyone.”

In a nutshell. Herr Starmer and his Gestapo of ministers, along with their Scottish Quislings need a long drop and a short stop.

They have a cheek keeping the name 'Labour'. Herr Starmer is full tilt Tory.

10.03.2025 08:00 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Plus, you claim that 'UK and Europe are riddled with it.' Based on what evidence, given that even DWP disagree with that assertion? What you have is an opinion, which is your right, but it's just an opinion with no data to support it. It's jingoistic nonsense that is the basis of harmful rhetoric.

08.03.2025 19:24 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I fail to see how you claim what you're saying doesn't imply a fraudulent element to the claims of people who have mental health issues. For a start, your point fails to address that social media facilitating MH issues is a modern issue and doesn't explain chronic depression, schizophrenia, etc.

It's as if Labour told the Tories to, '...hold my beer.' Herr Starmer and his cohorts are a repugnancy in need of removal.

That was the data they gave us in training and it has stayed fairly constant since the early 2000s, with minor fluctuations. This is the reason I know all their rhetoric re 'benefits crisis' is horseshit. You could always spot the dodgy looking claim, as their medical evidence was lacking at best.

08.03.2025 10:24 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I used to process benefit claims and was trained across several benefits, including ESA. I processed thousands of claims in my time and can assure you you are categorically wrong. DWP's own data estimates only 0.5% of claims are fraudulent. I can attest to this from years of experience and training.
