I’ve been putting off moving to a different video editing software from Vegas. I’m leaning towards Davinci Resolve, but still a bit unsure.

Does the software matter if you want to do freelance work (like for other YouTubers)? I imagine Premiere Pro would be more popular.

can’t wait to get the switch 2 soon, I’m gonna line up for it day 1 (it officially releases in a few days where I’m at)

How does applying for the YouTube partner program (essentially, opening your channel for monetization) work, if you (primarily) make YTP? I think other YTPers like cs188 have some form of monetization.
