i got to bring crossroad to life in realtime in a 10 day event with friends... i wrote so many rei x orerei interactions... i could make rei flirt with kaorukun on the daily... i could have rei goof around with hinata and yuuta... i could be a ridiculous obnoxious fool about ritsu 24/7... it was fun

i miss this person a lot... i guess thats the way of internet friendships, sometimes people just disappear off the face of the earth haha. i hope youre well out there friend. i got to write with so many people with that account, but its been a long time now. at least theres the memories ^_^

i was invited to a rei guide project and we're reading all the stories together he features in.. i guess ill figure it out after rereading crossroad and some other stories... reikao wait for me...

and it comes back to finding a gap in the literature... there are fics that are so gorgeous... delicious things like cigarette kisses & invasions of personal space & coquette & brushed-over vulnerability as veiled kindness & mutual understandings only in the dark But theyve already been done well

theres too much under the surface... rei fell for someone who actively seems to dislike him & treats him as another person w/out fanfare... but he can sense kaoru's kindness. though i think at this point in life rei likes the cold treatment and transactional relationship as safer/more predictable?

something very tender about them like a deep blue bruise. rei would press on it anyway (does press, all the time) and kaoru... he just winces but lets it be i think. intrinsic understanding of one another but acquired distaste (on kaoru end)... some foolish teenage dance. raunchy dialogue is fun but

my next wish is working on smth for 2nd year reikao but theyre so precious to me i feel like ill just get them wrong😭
