Digital textbook deals spark controversy - University Affairs Critics say automatic subscriptions to online course materials are a commercial cash grab that limits students’ choices

Automatic digital textbook enrolment programs, in use for years state-side, are popping up in Canada and critics allege they reduce student choice. Proponents argue these programs improve access and affordability. My story:
