These tablets are very nice to practice, especially that you can take them wherever you go!
Iirc the newer models are usually more performant, though I'd recommend checking the specs just in case. A newer model doesn't necessarily mean better if the specs are worse.

Oh yeah I bought my tablet around 2021

From one device to the other. It does lag if you use a HUGE brush or if the brush is textured. The bigger the textured brush, the laggier it is. For example, I did this entire skech page on this tablet. Worked wonders with my textured pencil, but then again I draw on tiny canvases

I'm occasionally using a Samsung S6 Lite with Clip Studio Paint. Might be a me problem, but I've never really managed to adjust the pen pressure lol
That said, it's very practical for doodles/sketches and colouring. I never clean up my works because of the pen pressure. With CSP I transfery works-
