But he gave Michelle Obama a cough drop so all his crimes are forgiven and forgotten.
George W was a compassionate war criminal.
Once again the fandom disappoints me. Man-boy fans should stop making women too uncomfortable and concerned about their safety to do what they enjoy. Wish we could all collectively mute and block the man-boys from social media and cons.
Iโm a book hoarder so Iโll keep them for a long time. Eventually when I need the shelf space, I will donate them to a library book sale.
It was a waste of money in the 80s and 90s, and it is definitely a waste of money now.
My reaction to every piece of news I see

It sounds like Peter Hegseth wrote this ad.
Their heads will explode when they fully realize the captain and first officers are both middle-aged queer women.
Ugh. That episode. Love Stargate but sometimes the whole cultural essentialism of it all makes it difficult to watch.
When Iโm not wanting to make up out with Daniel, Iโm wanting to yell at him for saying something so stupid.
I used to never require documentation to give extensions (despite what the syllabus says), but recently I have started to demand it since student requests were getting rather excessive and really late. A month after the exam and 4 days before the end of the term. Now they realize they are failing?
These Christian nationalists sure love the OT. I wonder if theyโve ever read the gospels.

No thanks. Iโll pass on AI slop. Fuck AI.

*Star Trek: Starfleet Academy
I really would like some Starfleet: Starfleet Academy novels and short story anthologies.
This is insane. Iโm a cis man, and I never conformed perfectly to gender norms especially as a child (to my fatherโs constant disappointment).
Interesting how strict gender norms have to be constantly enforced. Perhaps gender is a construct & gender expression is culturally varied & on a spectrum?
How many times is he going to give a new justification for the war?
Somehow they turned the beginning sequence of gay orgy porn into this.
Also I really hate Counselor Cambridge. I really hope he dies soon. Heโs such a selfish ass. Seven belongs with Raffi in every timeline.
Also itโs interesting how the Doctor deals with emotional pain and how his memories never fade by having the emotions and memories suppressed or muted in this novel versus how he dealt with it in the Academy. Either way itโs not easy being a near immortal sapient computer program.
Book cover of Kirsten Beyerโs Star Trek Voyager novel Protectors featuring Captain Chakotay, Admiral Janeway, and Voyager
Finished reading Kirsten Beyerโs Star Trek Voyager novel Protectors. Great continuation of the VOY relaunch novel. Itโs very character driven. Beyer doesnโt simply resurrect Janeway and then let everyone go back to the status quo of the series. Nope. Things canโt be the exactly as they were.
Perhaps they donโt have money for a laptop, though some laptops are cheaper than the phones they are using. But ultimately they view a college degree as merely a credential or just checking the box, and universities have encouraged this attitude. Thus it should be easy & accessible on their phones.

So I guess some of my online students are attempting complete their online courses entirely on their phones. No wonder they are using AI. Itโs difficult to write a paper on a phone.
Good news Trek Lit Fans:
There is going to be a new TOS Novel by David Mack at the end of the year: Echoes in Eternity.
The description makes it sound like one of those classic giant Trek novels. Iโm looking forward to reading it.

I even found something to like in Section 31, though I havenโt rewatched it.
