Booze boy at it again
Booze boy at it again
If the plan was to win the primary without the Black Vote, you should be ok with that same strategy in the general election.
That’s not the case though because it’s impossible to win without the Black Vote in Texas and most other states.
They keep framing these elections based on “electability“
Black Texan here. I can‘t say everyone else but I feel like Beto did his best. He when to every county including the black ones. James‘ campaign feels very excluding.
I and many other black voters will be withholding our vote until james Talarico acknowledges and refutes the racism, and voter suppression that helped tipped the scale in his favor. COME AND EARN IT!
Vote blue no matter who. Yea it’s gonna take more than statement that to win over black people in Texas. Talarico better bring some tangible benefits to the table .. maybe make a statement calling out them far left supporters who are dunking on Jasmine Crockett and supporters currently.
I need to make my point very clear: supporting Talarico over Crockett on policy is absolutely fine. You don’t have to (and shouldn’t!) support Crockett *just* because she’s Black. The problem I have is with the weirdos who think this is a sign to ditch Black voters and gloating.
Talarico could have stopped it by telling his supporters to stfu like John McCain did to the lady who said something racist and Islamophobic about Obama. Talarico is either spineless or he agrees with the racism. He still hasn't reached out to Black voters.
The comments under every post of Talarico winning:
1.) “I’m so glad he won!”
2.) “They were both great candidates!”
3.) “Yes! FUCK I hate Black people.”
The fact that we’re not seeing commenter #3 get jumped is exactly why Black folks are terrified of Talarico’s entire coalition.
I doubt Paxton‘ll even will win the runoff.
Watching people scream “AIPAC” about Crockett though she never took a dime from them while saying nothing about Talarico INHALING dark money from Trump-aligned PACs and donors…
Gonna be a wild ride in the U.S. without the Black vote 🤷🏽♂️
Her timeline on twitter was all anti Jasmine & pro Talarico ..
This is the type of person Black voters despise because they’ll get that microphone and get big followings and shit on democrats, especially Black dems, and just grift away..
There’s so many of them just like her
I feel like house speaker would be meaningful because the position actually holds power in the US
This that shit I was talking about a few days ago on here.
They played Jasmine Crockett the same way they played Stacey Abrams.
I honestly rather the party not throw her a bone. These powerless concessions to help white liberals cut us down to get votes for them is very disrespectful. i think she should go back to being a private attorney and get as much money as she can.
I love you sis! You’re always welcome to the cookout!
They hate black women but yet are demanding to her campaign for James.
So they help cause a Trump presidency, get attacked by him because he got into office, and then change their minds about him because they’re getting attacked and now we have to applaud them? 🤔
What is a ”shield of America”?
I really hate that after all the online hate she received with people using her race and gender to say she’s “unelectable“ now in the comments they’re acting like they love her again. This primary process has traumatized me.
Also rephrased as “use her”.

I support you dude. Talerico supporters don’t want unelectable black voters.
OK, since he's so "electable", he has no excuses.
We're expecting a win, right? Guaranteed?
This 👆🏾
I’ll see the bigger picture with a black agenda otherwise I’m not voting.
As a black texan who voted Jasmine don’t think I will be voting for James without a black agenda.
In 2021 James was the one who broke the Texas Dem coalition filibustering voter restrictions giving republicans a quorum to pass the voter restrictions. He’s just another unqualified white dude.
The fact that I am a black Texan and I have relatives and friends who I speak to
Okay. Well the ”black people can’t win in Texas” cost white people the election with democrats unless they can find enough white and Hispanic votes.
