When I was a kid, my dad worked one job and we had a house, a car, vacations most summers, and health insurance.
Try doing that on one income today. Something didn't just change. Something was changed. On purpose.
Tyson CEO Donnie King made $34.4 million in 2025. This is an increase of 51.3% from his compensation in 2024.
Don't believe these "woe-is-me" narratives from Tyson. They laid off 3,200 workers a WEEK before Thanksgiving. They upended a town.
Save your sympathy for the 3,200 workers in Lexington.
Under Ricketts and Pillen's "leadership," Nebraska's budget deficit has ballooned to $646 million.

Pete Ricketts and Jim Pillen don't care about what the majority of Nebraskans really want. They don't care what you voted for. They want to impose THEIR agenda on Nebraska whether Nebraskans like it or not.
Last week, after pushback from Pillen, the Appropriations Committee reversed themselves and voted to put $3.5 million for vouchers BACK in the budget anyway. All while cutting $18 million from special education.
In January, Pillen and Ricketts tried to sneak $7 million for a new voucher program into the Department of Labor budget. Not the Department of Education. The Department of Labor.
The Appropriations Committee initially said no. That should have been the end of it right? Nope.
In 2024, Nebraska voters rejected private school vouchers by nearly 60%. Voters in 45 of 49 legislative districts said NO.
So did Jim Pillen and Pete Ricketts accept the will of the voters? Of course not.
Billionaires buy private islands. They buy politicians. They buy elections.
That's why I'm fighting to end Citizens United, pass strict contribution limits, and force full transparency on every dollar spent trying to influence your vote.
The people who actually build and fix things in this country are treated like dirt. The people who move money around on a spreadsheet get to write the rules for the rest of us. Something got completely flipped upside down somewhere along the way. We need to flip it back. Osborn 2026.

In 2023, Glazer's Beer & Beverage bought Premiere Midwest Beer & Beverage. After decades of harmony between Local 554 and mgmt, new ownership came in and blew it up. Stalled negotiations. Unfair proposals. A contract offer so bad that workers couldn't even afford the health insurance it included.

Think about how many times in your life you've been on hold with an insurance company, getting the runaround for something you already paid for. That's not an accident. That's their business model.
