A black & white vintage book plate (plate lithograph from "The Masterpieces of French Art Vol II" by Louis Viardot, 1883) showing the painting "In The Stubble Field" by August F A Schenk, 1875. The print depicts a number of sheep and lambs in a field overseen by a shepherd and his dog. Along the horizon line I have painted six explosions from a bombing run, going from thick smoke to an orange fireball.
