Really liked that performance from Bogarde. Looks so assured and confidence. Come on so far in the last 12 months. #avfc #utv

Impressive performance considering the chronic ear infection that affects his balance

@handofpod.bsky.social which young players have impressed you so far this season? I've really liked Baroni at Talleres, Andrada at VΓ©lez and Peralta at HuracΓ‘n
And also really liking what I'm seeing from Boca talent Tomas Aranda. The 18-year-old had his first start in the 3-0 win versus LanΓΊs and impressed with his dribbling, vision, and ball-winning. Very rounded skillset
Lots of young players catching the eye over the last week or so. Most notably Thaiel Peralta and Lautaro GΓ³mez, who both scored braces.
But a player who has gone under the radar is Instituto's Luca Rafaelli, who scored his first senior goal vs Union. Another exciting 17-year-old talent
All in on the Europa then...
Make that a brace! Peralta is some talent!
And now a first senior goal - and what a way to do it. Beautiful slaloming run and finish by the teenager to put them ahead against Belgrano
Is it true that a Milei no se le para...? π
Not even sure why we're doing it when we've got Tammy there
Me putting all my eggs in the Europa league basket #avfc #utv
Love Watkins but you can now tell exactly what type of game he's going to have based on his first contribution. If it doesn't come off, his rock bottom confidence just sinks even lower. Sad to see #avfc #utv
He's the player we need back quickest. Get some intensity and set the standards on the pitch. Too many either coasting or incapable of making a difference
The 5 mins he had on the left was about the only time we saw Rogers. Need to get our best player on the ball more.
A real absence of leaders stepping up without that injured trio
Embarrassing performance, not helped by wrong selection decisions - both from the start and the bench.
Absolutely limping towards the end of the season. Already feels like it's in the hands of the chasing pack + we're hoping they are as inconsistent as we are
One thing that really baffles me about us lately - especially with key midfielders out - is how little we get the ball to Rogers. Last few mins have shown why we need him on the ball as much as possible
We're not getting anything out of this are we
BuendΓa hobbling around like a man begging to be subbed off
A predictably frustrating first half. Rain, Pawson haven't helped. Have had enough chances to be ahead, but still looking blunt in the final third. Think we'll regret not starting Tammy. Cash/Sancho working well on the right at least.
Going to be a game full of mistakes due to the conditions. Need to make sure we take advantage of one before Wolves smell a point #avfc #utv
And on the subject of attacking, there was a debut for Belgrano product Ramiro TuliΓ‘n (18). An international at youth level, people are very excited about him in CΓ³rdoba. Expect to hear a lot more about him.
Probably too early to say, but are we seeing a promising batch of number 9s emerging? Gutierrez at Belgrano, DΓ‘vila at Talleres, Perrotta at Banfield - all making impacts early this season.
Plus, likes of already well known talents like Ruberto and Veliz. Quite a crop
Banfield caught my eye with their youthful lineup in their 3-0 win over Newell's. Standout was 19-year-old strapping striker Tiziano Perrotta who scored two thumping headers.
Both wingers Lisandro PiΓ±ero (18) and Lautaro GΓ³mez (22) looked tidy too. Lautaro Villegas (22) also started in midfield.
Is David Romero capable of 'doing a Retegui' at Tigre this season? (I. e. being a bit of a late blooming striker who scores a load and gets a move to Europe)
Yet another Talleres prospect rising to the fore. 19-year-old striker ValentΓn DΓ‘vila came off the bench to score a brace at the Kempes in a 2-1 win against Gimnasia Mendoza - fittingly on the DΓa de San ValentΓn.
Game also featured Giovani Baroni (17) and Santiago Fernandez (20) from the start

What do you think of AFA's change in stance over patria potestad? Do you think it could come back to bite them?
Other than that, there is clearly a question to be had around the right flank, depending on who stays and goes.
And then replacing any senior pros that leave the squad, but I feel they might be areas where like-for-like replacements with experience will be preferred.
Thoughts Villa fans? #utv
